This winter, CORP Trails and the Village of DeForest are working together to plan new mountain bike trails at the undeveloped parcel east of Sunfish Pond.

We invite you to join us for a one-hour guided hike to experience this beautiful property firsthand and imagine the possibilities for future trails and recreation. You'll enjoy stunning views overlooking the Yahara River while learning about our vision for the property, including planned ecosystem management efforts and recreational improvements.

Whether you're a mountain biker, outdoor enthusiast, or simply curious about what's in store, we'd love to have you join us!

Note: This property does not currently have established hiking trails, so be prepared for a little adventure! Expect bushwhacking and muddy or damp walking surfaces. Please wear appropriate footwear and clean your shoes before arriving to help prevent the spread of invasive species.

Where: Meet at the Upper Yahara River Trail Head
