The Village of DeForest is looking for community feedback as we take the first step in Downtown Redevelopment with a focus on connectivity by creating a purposeful alleyway between the DeForest Area Public Library and Genesis/Aranda's building. Creating this inviting passage way will provide connectivity from Main Street/Downtown to the Fireman's Park/Village Campus area.

Alleyways are often a forgotten space, but provided with the right opportunity an alleyway can be revitalized into a unique space that benefits not only the adjacent properties, but the community and visitors as well. Some elements we are looking to add to this space is an inclusive walkway, seating, lighting and more!
