The Village of DeForest and Village of Windsor are excited to invite local DASD students to participate in our first-ever "I Voted" Sticker Design Contest!
This contest encourages students to learn about elections while expressing their creativity through art. Winning designs will be printed as official "I Voted" stickers distributed at November 3rd, General Election in our communities.
Whether you love drawing, painting, coloring, or creating digital art—we want to see your ideas!
Contest Details
Who Can Participate?
Students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade (as of the 2026/27 school year) who live or attend DASD within the Village of DeForest or Village of Windsor.
Categories
Elementary School: Kindergarten – 3rd Grade
Intermediate School: 4th – 6th Grade
Middle School: 7th – 8th Grade
High School: 9th – 12th Grade
One winner will be selected from each category.
Design Requirements
All entries must:
- Include the words "I Voted"
- Be original artwork created by the student
- Be nonpartisan and not promote any political party, candidate, or issue
- Not include copyrighted or trademarked images or logos
- Not be created using artificial intelligence (AI)
Artwork may be created using any artistic medium, including crayons, markers, paint, colored pencils, or digital illustration. Designs should be created inside the provided template and will be reduced to fit approximately a 2-inch circular sticker.
How to Enter
Participants may submit one entry.
To submit, complete the online form and upload your artwork or return a printed entry form to either Village Hall.
Required information:
- Student name
- Grade
- School
- Parent/Guardian contact information
- Sticker design
Community Voting
After the submission period closes, the Village of DeForest and Village of Windsor Clerks will review all eligible entries and select the top three (3) designs in each grade category.
Those finalists will then be featured on Engage DeForest, where the community will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite design in each category.
The design receiving the most community votes in each category will be named the winner and become an official "I Voted" sticker for elections in the Village of DeForest and Village of Windsor.
