Help Us Choose Our Holiday Decorations

As we look ahead to the holiday season, the Village of DeForest is exploring new decorative lighting for Main Street and the surrounding downtown area. This project was approved by the Village Board as part of the 2026 budget and is another step in creating a cohesive, welcoming look and feel for our downtown spaces and extending that experience toward Fireman’s Park.

This year, we’re considering two different design directions: winter-themed decorations featuring a variety of snowflakes or traditional holiday-themed decorations featuring festive elements such as holly, poinsettias, and other seasonal designs.

We want the decorations to help make our community feel welcoming and festive while reflecting the diverse community we all share.
