Every 5 years the Village of DeForest completes an updated Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan or sometimes also referred to as the Parks and Open Space Plan. This plan is prepared to help guide the Village of DeForest in obtaining, developing and maintaining public parks and outdoor recreation facilities, through public and professional input. It also serves as a tool to encourage participation in grant programs through the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and other agencies.
