April 25, 2025 - Celebrate Arbor Day - Tree Planting: Join Village of DeForest staff along with Quercus Land Stewardship as we celebrate Arbor Day by planting saplings. Participants will get the opportunity to learn proper planting techniques, while helping to reestablish our Oak Savannah along the Upper Yahara River area. All equipment will be provided. Meeting location will be emailed out the week of the event.

April 26, 2025 - Earth Day Cleanup: Celebrate Earth Day alongside your neighbors, friends, and co-workers by volunteering to clean up your local community in the Village of DeForest! Join this community-wide volunteer effort aimed at making a positive impact. Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist by cleaning up our parks, shorelines, roadways, and public spaces in DeForest. We'll provide the supplies needed and safety vests.
